Let’s embark in this wonderful journey in the fairy tale region of Transylvania, a land of myth and legend, visited by thousands of tourists each year. We will start our tour travel in the capital of Bucharest, where the first stop is the Snagov Monastery, also known as Vlad Tepes Monastery, important cultural and religious edifice.

This will lead the path to the great Poenari Castle, known as the secondary residence of Vlad the Impaler, a fortress that has known years of history, conflicts, and protected the people against Turks. Continuing our tour in the heart of Transylvania we will arrive in Sibiu, an important cultural and economic center of the region that offers plenty of monuments and places to see.

Following the steps of the famous character in Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula, we will go through the Borgo Pass, with a stop in the city of Medias, which has lots of stories about the rule of the feared count Vlad. We will be staying at the Dracula Castle hotel, situated in Tihuta Pass, built after Bram Stoker’s imagination.

We cannot skip the city of Cluj-Napoca, where the main attractions are the museums and some important churches. Once we depart from Cluj, tourists will discover the real museum of salt mining, Salina Turda. Excellent destination for treating respiratory diseases and observing the great work of human hands. Turda also offers another important monument, the tomb of Michael the Brave, the ruler of Moldavia, Transylvania and Tara Romaneasca.

The next stop in the amazing Vampire Dracula Tour will definitely impress the tourists. The town of Sighisoara is the place where Vlad the Impaler was born. Part of the UNESCO Heritage List, the citadel introduces the visitors in the medieval world that once existed in the region.

The only thing that can compete to the beauty of Sighisoara is the next destination, Brasov. Arriving in Bran, the mighty Bran Castle reveals its myths and legends on which uncountable stories and movies were made about the vampire sucking blood, Dracula.

The visitors will enjoy the tours of the castle, learning about the history of this imposing defense fortification and about the life of Vlad the Impaler. He stood up to the Ottoman Empire and had many controversial methods to punish his enemies.

Leaving behind the mystical land of vampires and castles, the last stop before arriving to Bucharest will be Sinaia. Found in Prahova Valley, the king Carol I of Romania chose to build its royal residence here, the Peles Castle.

You will not be disappointed with this epic tour to Transylvania, the land of fairy tales and spooky stories.
